11-year-old Gift Osayuwu, who was arrested for allegedly joining a gang of hoodlums to attack a police station in Edo Police, has been enrolled into a private school.
Coordinator of human rights group, Talakwa Parliament, Kola Edokpayi, shared the news on Monday, November 2.
According to him, the little lad was enrolled into JSS 1 in “one of the ‘best private schools” in Benin City.
Joeblinks Blog reported earlier that Gift Osayuhi was arrested for allegedly joining some hoodlums that attacked Oba Market police station at Evbuotubu area of Benin City and after the attack, the reportedly paraded himself around town in the uniform of a police sergeant and declared himself as the Inspector General of Police (IGP). The Edo state Police command, however, released Gift Osayuhi days later, Edokpayi confirmed.
