There was mild drama on Friday night at the popular Third Mainland bridge in Lagos state during the #EndSARS candle light session.
Robbers reportedly stormed the bridge during the session and tried to dispossess people of their belongings but singer and DMW artiste, Peruzzi was on ground to thwart their plans.
Peruzzi was said to have protected protesters as he and some friends chased the robbers away from the bridge.
The singer who was on his way to Felabration, the ceremony organized to honour late afrobeats legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, stopped by at the venue of the candlelight wake for victims of SARS extra-judicial killings.
Moments after he arrived, the robbers stormed and tried to create chaos but Peruzzi chased them as they fled.
It was not clear how many they were or if anyone was hurt in the process, but many social media users who were present at the time of the incident, lauded the ‘Majesty’ crooner for his timely intervention.
Peruzzi also tweeted about it; “OMO DRAMA ON 3RD MAINLAND BRIDGE NOW!!!!! ROBBERS”
