One of the six suspects arrested in connection with the gruesome murder of a 21-year-old student of the University of Benin (UNIBEN), Miss Uwaila Omozuwa, has said they were paid ₦1m by a landlady, one Mary Ade, to commit the act.
The suspect, Collins Uligbe from Agbor in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State, was paraded alongside five others – including the landlady – by the Edo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Johnson Kokumo, on Wednesday.
Others paraded alongside Uligbe and the landlady are Nelson Ogbebor, Tina Samuel, another lady, Valentine Akato and Nosa Osabohien.
