Good morning, Arsenal fans. Some positive news regarding Philippe Coutinho emerged today.

It’s claimed he’s agreed personal terms to move to the Emirates and it’s now up to the clubs to work out a deal.

Alexandre Lacazette looks set to leave the Emirates to pursue more regular football in Spain.

According to the Star, if Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – who has been named AFC’s Player of the Season – signs a new deal then his strike partner will make a £30m move to Atletico Madrid.

The Gunners are said to be battling with Manchester City to sign Lyon star Houssem Aoua.

The midfielder is valued at £54million by the French club and has a contract until 2023.

Leeds United are reportedly eyeing Rob Holding as a potential loan signing.

Arsenal are reportedly set to sell Alexandre Lacazette to Atletico Madrid for £30m.

According to the Star, if Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang signs a new deal then his strike partner will depart the Emirates.

It’s claimed Lacazette is unhappy to be merely a bit-part player in Mikel Arteta’s first-team plans.

Following the Premier League restart, he was on the bench until Eddie Nketiah’s suspension allowed him back into the side.

Gabriel Martinelli is also in contention for the lone striker role, prompting Lacazette to look elsewhere.

Leeds United are reportedly eyeing Arsenal’s Rob Holding and Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher as potential loan signings.

According to the Mail, Marcelo Bielsa is keen to bring in some loanees to help strengthen ahead of their return to the Premier League.

Leeds know re-signing Ben White from Brighton could be difficult. They are considering fresh options in both midfield and defence.

20-year-old Gallagher impressed for Swansea City in the Championship last season, while Holding was in and out of Arsenal’s team.

Paul Merson believes Arsenal have got themselves a ‘special player’ as Willian prepares to make the switch to north London from Chelsea on a free transfer.

In his column for the Daily Star, he wrote: “Willian would be an unbelievable signing for Arsenal. I think Willian is a special player who ticks all the boxes. I can’t believe Chelsea are letting him go to be honest.

“I know he’s 31 and wanted a three-year contract but football is all about now, and right now he’s a great player. No manager is thinking about what might happen in three or four years’ time.

“They need results now, so it’s no surprise to me Frank Lampard doesn’t want him to go. Arteta won’t be Arsenal manager forever. He needs to win now. Willian can help him do that.”

Arsenal and Man City are battling to sign Lyon star Houssem Aoua.

The midfielder is valued at £54million by the French club and has a contract until 2023.

Aoua won a penalty for Lyon in their 2-1 defeat to Juventus, but his side still went through to the Champions League quarter-finals on away goals.

French outlet L’Equipe claim the coronavirus pandemic could force Lyon into selling the 22-year-old.

With Dani Ceballos returning to Real Madrid this summer, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta could make a move for Aoua.

Arsenal have reportedly agreed personal terms with Philippe Coutinho as the playmaker visited the club’s training ground.

Catalan Sport say all the Gunners need to do is agree a deal with Barcelona, who paid £142million to sign the Brazilian from Liverpool in January 2018.

Bukayo Saka was a surprise omission from the Premier League’s Young Player of the Year shortlist.

And Arsenal have not taken the news lightly…

Frank Lampard insists he will have no hard feelings if Willian leaves Chelsea.

Brazil forward Willian is understood to be closing in on a move to Arsenal, with his Stamford Bridge contract expiring after the Blues’ Champions League exploits.

The Chelsea boss said: “In terms of being disappointed, certainly as a club I think we have done everything we can to explain to Willian, and mine and his relationship is really close.

“I would have no feeling of disappointment if he does move on.

“I’ve played with him, coached him, he’s a fantastic man and a fantastic player.

“I think he will feel like that about Chelsea, I’ll leave him to say his own words.

“But I don’t want anyone to try and find a negative attitude, because the club have acted very well in this as well.

“I don’t have the answer, if he moves on I personally would wish him well. And that’s kind of where we’re at now.”

Fiorentina are interested in signing Lucas Torreira from Arsenal, and he’s now been quizzed on his future.

Torreira, the midfielder, struggled for game time under Mikel Arteta and he’s been linked with a return to Italy this summer.

And it’s fair to say Torreira has not played down such a possibility.

“Last season, I played with continuity,” Torreira told Radio Sport890. “This one, less so. This year was more difficult. I lost rhythm and confidence. I don’t like it. At my age, I need to play to be called up to the national team. Transfer rumours? There’s nothing at the moment.

“I need to rest because it has been a very long season, I got injured and then there was the Coronavirus. I have a contract with Arsenal, but if I were to change in the future, it would be a decision taken for my own good. Any player looks for a team in which he feels important. We’ll see what happens in the future”.

Chelsea star Willian has reportedly been left feeling ‘upset and offended’ as his seven-year stay at Stamford Bridge nears its end.

The 31-year-old has allegedly agreed a three-year contract to join Arsenal after talks over a new deal to remain in west London fell through.

The Brazilian made it clear he wanted a three-year extension, but Blues director Marina Granovskaia was reluctant to give into his demands before the coronavirus crisis brought a halt to the season.

According to ESPN, Willian feels the club could have tried harder to keep him and he is ‘upset and even offended’ after he was offered a ‘take it or leave it’ two-year contract.
